Cross-country skiing

Fancy some fun in the snow away from the piste? You are sure to find the right outdoor programme to experience the white splendour on a winter holiday in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Cross-country skiers can do their rounds on the circular trail at the end of the valley or the high-altitude trail on the Reiterkogel – by the way, use of the cross-country ski trails is free!

Winter & snowshoe hikes

Breathe in the clean winter air and be enchanted by the wonderfully snowy landscape! Take a winter hike on marked trails or a cross-country snowshoe hike and go looking for the most beautiful places in the Glemmtal valley.

Tobogganing & horse-drawn sleigh rides

A fun toboggan ride and a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride are simply part of a winter holiday in Saalbach-Hinterglemm! Both the 2.3-km-long toboggan run on the Reiterkogel mountain and the Spielberghaus toboggan run (3 km) are lit up in the evening so that you can dash down into the valley under the starry sky.

Ice skating and ice stock sport

Both sports are extremely sociable and promise family fun at its best because everyone can join it – grandma, grandpa, children and parents! The sport centre with its ice skating and ice stock rink is located just 5 minutes away from our guest house on foot.
